Lewannick Clinic Times

Lewannick practice operates as a GP and nurse clinic on alternate days:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Fridays – GP Clinic
  • Tuesday and Thursdays – Nurse Clinic

The surgery at Lewannick is open only when there is a clinic taking place.  We offer GP appointments on 3 mornings each week and nurse clinics on 2 mornings each week.

These clinics are at varying times to allow as many patients as possible to access our services.  Patients from the Lewannick area are also able to come to Bodmin to see the GP or nurse.

Please fill out our Book an Appointment form or call the practice on for details of opening times at Lewannick.

Out of Hours Service

On Mondays and Tuesdays we offer appointments between 18:30 and 20:00 at the Bodmin main surgery. These appointments must be booked in advance.

Between 18:30 and 08:00 Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

The surgery switchboard is closed on weekdays between 13:00 – 14:00 and 18:30 – 08:00, at weekends and on bank holidays.

Accessing GP care when we are closed

If you have an urgent medical problem that cannot wait until we are next open, please telephone NHS111 on 111 – simply dial 1 three times.

Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobile phones with a contract (Pay as you go mobiles do have to have at least 1p credit to get through to 111).

If you need to be seen by a GP you will either be given an appointment with the Out of Hours GP service, or if you are too ill a GP from the service will visit you.

This practice now offers a video GP service – LIVI – to all our patients. To access the service, simply download LIVI from the App store (iphone) or Google Play (Android), and sign up. You can get medical advice, prescriptions and referrals by video, with appointments available in the evenings, at weekends and bank holidays.

There is a minor injuries unit a Bodmin Community Hospital for less serious injuries.
